Do Comet Online charge delivery?
Normally Comet do make a delivery charge. How much really depends on when you want the product delivered and what the product is. The base price for a delivery between 8.00am and 6.00pm Mon to Friday is, £4.95 for small items and £13.95 for larger items. If you require a morning or weekend delivery their prices increase.
If however, Comet fail to deliver when promised your delivery charge is refunded.
Some products online are free delivery items.
Do Comet offer monthly payment plans online?
They offer different options depending upon the products and current promotions. Full details are available on the site but basically;- a deposit will be required to process the order. After the order is processed you are sent an application form to complete, sign and return. The process cannot be fully processed on line for security reasons.
Can I use my Comets discount card online?
Comet are part of the Kingfisher Group as are Woolworths. Unfortunately however, you cannot use your Woolworths discount card either online or for telephone orders. To use your discount card you must visit a store in person. You can however, use your Comet discount card online.
Is the Comet online store up to date?
The site is updated daily to include products which are currently in stock in our warehouses or available from our suppliers. If a product is not in stock on a particular day, it will not be displayed.
Are goods purchased online guaranteed?
A full refund, or an exchange of equal value if preferred, is guaranteed for customers returning unopened products within 28 days of purchase or delivery. Under distance selling legislation, any opened products purchased via the Comet web site or telephone are also subject to a 7 day exchange or refund.
Faulty products within the Manufacturer's guarantee period will be repaired for free by a Comet approved engineer.
If you are returning a faulty portable product, you should return it to your local store, who will arrange for the product to be inspected. If the product is faulty, the store will explain the various options available to you.
